How information is handled across Talred services and product demos available from this application.
Scope
This notice describes information processed through the Talred public site and Talred-operated online experiences across the project ecosystem, including Identity sign-in for demos and products such as Job Tracker. Talred PHP packages, Identity and integration packages, and the public Talred Starter repository, documentation, sample projects, apps, and examples are part of the ecosystem; this notice describes information processing when you view them on Talred-operated sites. If you clone, download, modify, or self-host the Starter, this notice does not describe the data practices of your own deployment or of services you configure. GitHub, Adzuna, advertisers, linked websites, and other separately operated services have their own privacy notices. Information we collect
For demo sign-in, Identity creates a temporary account and records account, project, session, and expiry information. A product may store the demo content you choose to enter under that account. We also process technical request details to operate and protect the site. The site uses functional cookies for locale routing and, for the current browser session, to remember job-search preferences after you use search. Some demos store cart contents, theme preference, or editor context in your browser storage; those browser-only values may remain after sign-out until you clear the site's data in your browser. This application build does not load analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting and request logs may contain details such as IP address and browser information, depending on the deployment.
How information is used
Information is used to create and maintain a temporary demo session, provide the feature you request, save demo content, protect the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. We do not sell personal information or use demo content for advertising.
Demos and temporary data
Talred sign-in is for temporary demo access. A demo account expires no later than 60 minutes after creation. When you sign out, Identity immediately revokes its tokens and sends signed deletion requests only to connected product endpoints configured to receive them. Identity removes its account after those configured endpoints acknowledge; it cannot confirm deletion for product data without a suitable endpoint. Expiry also starts cleanup automatically. Requests are retried automatically, but exhausted or unavailable deliveries may need operator action, so removal of connected-product data can be delayed. Browser-only data, such as preferences or cart contents, is not removed by server-side sign-out; clear the site's browser storage to remove it. Do not enter real, confidential, sensitive, payment, or production information.
Job Tracker search and Adzuna listings
When you use Job Tracker search, the Job Tracker server sends your search criteria, such as keywords, country, location, and filters, to the Adzuna API to retrieve job advertisements. Adzuna may process the request under its own terms and privacy notice. If you open a listing, your browser visits Adzuna or an advertiser, which handles that visit under its own notice. Job Tracker search requests do not include your demo profile or saved-job notes.
AI-assisted features
When you request AI writing help in a demo, your prompt, relevant document content, selected context, and conversation history may be sent to the AI provider configured for that deployment. Conversation content may also be saved as demo data and is subject to the demo deletion process. Avoid personal or sensitive information and review generated output before using it.
Retention and security
Demo accounts expire no later than 60 minutes after creation, and signing out starts deletion immediately as described above. Connected products may need additional time to complete cleanup, especially during an outage; if automatic delivery attempts are exhausted, an operator may need to retry the request. Browser-only values are controlled by your browser and may remain until you clear them. Limited technical, security, delivery, or backup records may be retained separately for security, reliability, or legal requirements and may not be removed at the same time as live demo records. Provider names, retention periods, and safeguards vary by deployment and are not fully listed in this notice. For details about a specific demo, email [email protected]. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may choose not to provide optional information and may stop using a demo at any time. Sign out to start demo-account deletion, and clear browser storage separately to remove browser-only values. You may withdraw consent or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing [email protected]. To complain about how information was handled, email the same address with the subject “Privacy complaint”; the concern will be reviewed and answered. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec where applicable. Requests may be subject to applicable law and identity verification.
